Management Team Giorgio Feige President of FIMO Group Son of the founder - Hans Feige - Giorgio joined the company right during his studies as mechanical engineer at the well known “Politecnico di Milano”. He has been working in FIMO® since 1954 and has been directing it since 1957. Mr. Feige is the brain behind all the innovative products and patents that FIMO® has produced over the years. His experience ranges from sales, to production, to management. During his time in FIMO® he has grown the company from a small and local family business to an internationally recognized enterprise, with subsidiaries in two continents. In his – little – spare time, Mr. Feige is also a violinist and a famous violin expert. He is also socially-involved; he has founded the ONLUS Association, named FEBO, that helps young needy people operating and emerging in the Musical Arts. Massimo Cortili Managing Director Massimo Cortili came back to FIMO® in 2007. Thanks to his considerable experience in the international mobile telecommunication market he is assisting the CEO in bringing the company into the next generation. His previous experiences were as Business Analyst in the Strategic Services of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture); Export Sales Director at FIMO®, where he helped setting up the international sales network, signing the first frame agreements with the main global system provider; he also set up the first foreign subsidiary, serving as Managing Director of FIMO Deutschland GmbH in Munich; Western Europe Business Manager at NK Cables (Draka), Helsinki, taking care of the main key accounts;VP Sales and co-founder at Funambol, Redwood (CA), the leading cross-platform mobile open source project in the world. Massimo Cortili holds a degree in B.A. at the “L. Bocconi” University of Milan, with a specialization in organization and management. Since 2000 he has been a contract professor and a lecturer at the “CrESIT”, Research Centre for Innovation and Life Sciences Management and at “Università dell’Insubria” of Varese and Como, teaching management, strategy and organization. Since 2008 he is also a Visiting Faculty at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (amongst the top ten Business Schools in India) in New Delhi, in the areas of Strategy and International Business. Angelo Radaelli VP Sales Angelo Radaelli started his career as salesman in 1980 in ELF Spa, working in the oil business. Later on he moved to CCRT Sistemi Spa - a cables manufacturing company - where he stayed for six years. Here he fine tuned his natural skills in sales contributing to expand company business in the chemical and petrochemical fields and reorganizing the sales agent network. In 1994 he joined FIMO® as Director Sales and has substantially helped FIMO® transition from a small company to an international brand. He promoted and assisted in the acquisition of EMC, now FIMO France. He has an extensive and remarkable knowledge of the Mobile Telecom Networks business and couples his market expertise with a very deep understanding of the technical aspects of all the products, the manufacturing process and all the related logistics. He also sits as Board Director of FIMO India Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. Helmut Helmberger FIMO Deutschland GmbH CEO Helmut Helmberger joined FIMO Deutschland in January 2005. Helmberger has 20 years of international marketing and sales experience in high-quality telecommunications equipment for Mobile Operators and Installation companies. He studied Business Administration at the Fachhochschule Rosenheim (D) and at the Hatfield University (UK) specializing in International Sales & Marketing. Prior to FIMO D, he was the responsible Sales Director EU & MEA at CSA-Wireless (UK), a leading provider of mobile communication antennas, where he achieved record revenues and was responsible for the successful market entry into Asia. Before CSA-Wireless, Helmberger was Head of Marketing at SAG-Abel Kommunikationstechnik, where he positioned the newly merged company on eye level with the German Mobile Operators, as the leader in nationwide installation services for UMTS. Prior to SAG-Abel, Helmberger gained 10 years experience in area sales management at Kathrein Werke KG. Simon Girard FIMO France CEO After over 10 years of experience deploying mobile networks all over France and Africa, Simon Girard assumed - in 1998 - the leadership of EMC SYSTEMES. Since 2002 he is also Managing Director of Kitting Telecom, a subsidiary of EMC SYSTEMES. Kitting Telecom is engaged in the designing of sophisticated tree looking masts for the GSM/UMTS. After being acquired by FIMO®, EMC SYSTEMES - now FIMO France - under the guidance of Simon Girard has become market leader in France and Northern Africa. Sukant Chakravarty FIMO India Mfg. Pvt. Ltd. CEO Sukant Chakravarty has started his career with HCL, one of the leading companies in the office automation industry in India, where he was dealing exclusively with TOSHIBA products and subsequently with RICOH India Ltd.. After 17 years in the office automation industry, he joined RFS GmbH a leading global wireless infrastructure provider as Country Manager India, Sub-Continent and was involved in starting their operations in India. Since July 2008, he has been actively involved in setting up the operations of FIMO India which today has commenced its activities in addressing the ever growing needs of the Indian Telecom Industry. With almost 24 years of professional experience and his considerable knowledge of the trends of the telecom industry backed up by strong customer relation management with the respective verticals, FIMO India stands to move ahead and establish itself as a leader in its core area in the near future.
